About & editorial approach
FRAME PRACTICE is an independent English-language journal focused on still photography. We aim to give a reader enough context to make a practical next decision.
What belongs here
Static photographs, camera exposure, focus and composition. AI video generation, editing services, creator calendars and video shot lists are outside this journal.
How we explain things
Each guide includes a clear scope, detailed explanations, an original worked example or practice exercise, a checklist and questions. Arithmetic examples are illustrative. We do not claim to have personally tested a recipe, product or technique when we have not.
References and corrections
Background facts are checked against the references listed with the guides. External organizations are independent of this site and do not endorse it. When a product, garment, plant or camera has its own instructions, those specific instructions take priority over a general example.
The publication date is 18 October 2026. If you find an error, note the page URL, the disputed statement and the primary reference that explains the correction. No account or contact form is required to use this journal.
Advertising and editorial decisions
The site is prepared for potential advertising. At launch, no advertising or analytics script runs on these pages. Publisher identification is not evidence of approval or active ad delivery. Future advertising must be labeled and configured separately from editorial recommendations.
